HIGH HOPES - Growing up on a farm a young boy's imagination could be endless. Peddle power vs horsepower, no problem. Just what makes that little boy think he'll move that tractor? Well, he has high hopes, high apple pie in the sky hopes.

Mount Desert Island - Somesville Maine is the oldest settlement and a beautiful little village on Mount Desert Island just minutes from Bar Harbor. It is an excellent opportunity to take some of the best photos while you are visiting Acadia and Mount Desert Island. The white foot bridge is one of the most photographed scenes on Mount Desert Island for it is renowned for having the only fjord on the U.S. East Coast known as Somes Sound. The Somes Sound is a result of a mile high glacier which formed the gouges in the land and left the 7 mile long Somes Sound with mountain tops, lakes and boulders. There are many hiking trails, picnic areas, beaches in and near Somesville.

CAMPING - Camping on a beach as a recreational activity offers you an opportunity to visit a special place of beauty and color. The waking up to the pastel colors of early dawn light. The wonderful smell of coffee brewing on an open fire. The haunting sounds of a distant buoy singing a ship's lullaby. The summer sea breeze blowing gently through your hair. The endless waves as it kisses an endless shore. All this and more when camping on a beach. Find that special place you can treasure forever in your memory.

Photographer’s Dream – “No man has the right to dictate what other men should perceive, create or produce, but all should be encouraged to reveal themselves, their perceptions and emotions, and to build confidence in the creative spirit.” –
Ansel Adams, 1902-1984.  (Photo taken last summer at P.E.I. Canada.)

Up, Up, & Away - It's a bird, no it's a plane, no it's super kite! Kites have made their appearance over three thousand years ago, in China. All the materials needed were found there, for it's making: Bamboo for the frame, and silk for the sail and bridle. The American Kite-fliers Association now, have over 3,000 members, in 25 countries, and are the largest association of kiters in the world. WATERLILY & DRAGONFLY - Once upon a time a Dragonfly landed on a Waterlily and commented to the Waterlily "what a beautiful flower you are", and the Dragonfly flew away contented. Each day the Dragonfly would remind the Waterlily of its beauty and each day the Dragonfly flew away contented. One day however, after telling the Waterlily of its beauty, the Waterlily responded, "I know I'm beautiful", and the Dragonfly flew away disgusted. - (Gigli 2010)

ONLY TIME – “Who can say where the road goes,
Where the day flows, only time?
And who can say if your love grows,
As your hearth chose, only time?” – by Enya.
