Mulholland Point Lighthouse was built in 1885 and is the only lighthouse shared by the United States and Canada. It is located in Roosevelt Campobello International Park.
Franklin D. Roosevelt spent many enjoyable vacations at his summer home on Campobello Island, in New Brunswick’s Bay of Fundy. His magnificent 34-room residence is today the centerpiece of Roosevelt-Campobello International Park, preserved as a memorial and as a symbol of the close friendship between Canada and the United States. The Evening Darkens Over
poetry by Robert Bridges
The evening darkens over
After a day so bright,
The windcapt waves discover
That wild will be the night.
There’s sound of distant thunder.
The latest sea-birds hover
Along the cliff’s sheer height;
As in the memory wander
Last flutterings of delight,
White wings lost on the white.
There’s not a ship in sight;
And as the sun goes under,
Thick clouds conspire to cover
The moon that should rise yonder.
Thou art alone, fond lover

The Eastern yellow jacket or Eastern yellowjacket (Vespula maculifrons) is a wasp found in eastern North America and throughout the Great Plains region of the United States. This yellow jacket is a social insect, living in colonies of hundreds to thousands of individuals. Their nests are usually in the ground. Adult wasps only consume liquid foods. Most of their food is nectar from flowers, juices of fruit, and other sweet things. Since they are attracted to sugar sources, they may be attracted to soft drinks or other foods that are consumed by humans. (Wikipedia)

Raggedy Ann is a fictional character created by American writer Johnny Gruelle (1880–1938) in a series of books he wrote and illustrated for young children. Raggedy Ann is a rag doll with red yarn for hair and has a triangle nose. The character was created in 1915 as a doll, and was introduced to the public in the 1918 book Raggedy Ann Stories. A doll was also marketed along with the book to great success. A sequel, Raggedy Andy Stories (1920) introduced the character of her brother, Raggedy Andy, dressed in sailor suit and hat. Beloved Belindy (1926) was added to the stories along with Rags the dog. (Wikipedia) – Dolls hand crafted by Carole Anne Gigli

Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse, Ponce Inlet, Florida.
Steadfast, serene, immovable, the same,
Year after year, through all the silent night
Burns on forevermore that quenchless flame,
Shines on that inextinguishable light! – The Lighthouse
