Look to this Day!
For it is Life, the very Life of Life.
In its brief course lie all the
Verities and Realities of your Existence.
The Bliss of Growth,
The Glory of Action,
The Splendor of Beauty;
For Yesterday is but a Dream,
And To-morrow is only a Vision;
But To-day well lived makes
Every Yesterday a Dream of Happiness,
And every Tomorrow a Vision of Hope.
Look well therefore to this Day!

   Rich, Some wealthy guy should open a Gigli Museum and show nothing but your stuff. If I could take pictures like this one I’d be a happy(er) man.

   This poem has been set to choral music – I sang in my high school chorus many many years ago and this was one I loved. Just now I sat at my computer singing away (all parts at once of course) and was delighted! Thank you for reminding me – and for the lovely picture as well (as always)
